Here Is The Amount Of Money Needed To Bring Comedian Mmese Bontwe’s Body
December 13, 2024The Ugandan entertainment industry is in mourning following the untimely death of veteran singer-comedian Nicholas Mpiirwe Kamagala aka DJ Messe Bontwe.
This occurred in the southwestern state of Arizona, leaving the ugandan community members in America in tears.
The late Messe had decided to stay in the United States, where he had relocated to seek greater opportunities in the entertainment world.
Messe Bontwe was a trailblazer, co-founding the iconic Amarula Family comedy group in 1999 alongside fellow comedians Amooti Omubalanguzi and the late Paddy Bitama.
His comedic styles made him a household name in Uganda, Messe had a successful musical career as a producer and musician. He was a member of the ‘Hommies Band’ (Abaana be Kka) and achieved fame with the hit song Bamusakata, a collaboration with reggae artist Ragga Dee in 1995.
