Hon Ssegirinya’s Family To Hold Thanksgiving Ceremony For Him

Kawempe North Member of parliament Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad’s family is planning to have a thanksgiving ceremony for him.

They said they attribute his life and improving health to God because he almost died months ago.

Ever since Hon Ssegirinya was elected as a member of parliament, he has never had peace. He was arrested on cases of alleged murder and he spent almost two years in behind bars.

Throughout his stay in prison, he complained of being sick but still he couldn’t get out to get external medication from private doctors.

When Hon Ssegirinya was released from prison, he immediately travelled out of the country to get medication. At first he returned to Uganda looking better.

But when he was hospitalized the second time in Nairobi Kenya, he spends five months bedridden. The photos that people who visited took scared Ugandans more.

Hon Ssegirinya was later brought back home after he improved. His family and friends have been by his side throughout the sickness.

His best friend Alex said he is now much better and as a family that are planning for a thanksgiving for him.

Alex revealed that they haven’t set a date but people will be invited to come and celebrate Hon Ssegirinya.

“Hon. Ssegirinya’s health has improved, and we are planning a thanksgiving to God. We haven’t set a date yet but we will invite people once everything is finalized,” – Alex
