Jackie Chandiru On Why She Has Always Been Uncomfortable With Her Dark Skin

Renown singer from the Blu3 Jackie Chandiru has revealed reasons why she has always been uncomfortable with her dark skin from child hood.

She said that she used to find herself looking the most dark in the environment she was in and it became more clear that she was considered beautiful at all.

Jackie Chandiru is from the Northern part of Uganda and her skin colour is common with people from that areas.

However she attained her education in different places where she met more light skinned people and she looked very odd from them.

The singer has been in the music industry for over ten years. The entertainment industry is where there are more beautiful ladies very light skinned and even the dark ones try to bleach to fit in so well.

According to Jackie Chandiru, she wanted to bleach her Skin so bad but she doubted the results. She didn’t want to try and fail and that’s why she stopped thinking about it.

“Yes, when they used to bully me for being dark, I wanted to bleach, but I didn’t know it was possible. I only kept asking God why He made me so dark,” Jackie Chandiru

The singer said up to today she still questions God why her skin looks the way it looks when she is around the light skinned people.
