Singer Joseph Mayanja also known as Jose Chameleone’s upcoming concert has been cancelled just a week to the date.
It was supposed to happen on 5th August 2025 at Kololo airstrip organised by the famous promoter Abbey Musinguzi also known as Abitex.
Jose Chameleone is one of the most difficult musicians to work with in Uganda despite the fact that he has been in the music industry for more than 20 years.
This years hasn’t been easy for him as he spent months in the USA struggling with some diseases that almost took his life.
When the singer returned, Abitex was among the people that decided to organize for him a concert so that his fans can enjoy his return.

However things are not going as planned because Jose Chameleone refused to cooperate with the promoter because of the little money that was offered to him.
“Chameleone’s concert that was going to be on 5th next month in Kololo I have to postpone it. He didn’t agree with the money that I offered and now it will not happen because there is no musician to show up and sing,”- Abitex
