Singer and on and off politician Victor Kamenyo has revealed reasons why he decided to quit pursuing an active political career despite his little fame.
In the last general elections he badly wanted to contest under the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag but he didn’t get a chance in any way.
He was denied a card and and without it he didn’t have a clear chance of winning so he left the race for the enabled people.
According to Victor Kamenyo, the last elections taught him that politics isn’t for the weak and people don’t just choose based on good leaders.
The singer revealed that he understood that he can still share his ideas even when he is not in the race and that gave him peace to push forward and leave active politics alone.
