Azawi On Why She No Longer Appears In Media For Interviews

Swangz Avenue artiste Azawi real name Zawedde Priscillar has revealed reasons why she no longer appears in the media for interviews.

She said she had her first television interview yesterday on NTV Uganda this year 2024 and she was so happy to finally interact with her fans.

Azawi is one of the most talented female musicians in Uganda. When she was new in the music industry, her management was pushing her to do as many interviews as she can so that they get to know more about her.

She proved her point and in fact she created a huge fan base which has been keeping her moving for three years now.

According to Azawi she no longer has to prove herself to Ugandans on what she can do or not do. She said that she likes appearing in the media only when she has something meaningful to offer to Ugandans.

Azawi On Why She Will Never Date A Ugandan Man

The talented singer said her fans will not be seeing her in interviews unless she has a new song or something exciting to share with them.

“I guess this is my first TV interview this year. I don’t like appearing on TV without having something meaningful to discuss or something important to share with my fans. Ugandans already know that I can be a great artist, so there’s no point for me to prove myself,” Azawi Official
