Ugandan singer Alien Skin has sparked controversy after angrily denouncing fans from Busoga, declaring he will never perform in the region again.
He cited repeated mistreatment, disrespect, and even past physical attacks as reasons for his decision, igniting heated debate across Uganda’s music scene.

In a viral video released in March 2026, Alien Skin announced he had “banned” Busoga from his performance schedule, saying he could not perform in a place where fans “taunt and disrespect” him.
The singer referenced several confrontations in Busoga, including a serious attack in April 2025 in Iganga, where he sustained injuries requiring treatment in Kenya.
Fans Mock Alien Skin As His Health Worsens
On X (formerly Twitter), Alien Skin posted a controversial statement comparing Busoga fans to “hawkers and peddlers” and suggesting they should be “chased back” to their region to “clean the Ugandan music industry.”
The singer said fans are giving themselves more importance than they should and that’s very annoying to him for the time he has spent building his career.
